Several basic concepts in screening:

● Feeding material: the material to be fed into the screening machine.
● Screen stop: The material with a particle size larger than the size of the sieve in the sieve is left on the screen.
● Under-sieve: The material with a particle size smaller than the size of the sieve hole passes through the sieve surface to form the under-sieve product.
● Easy sieve granules: granules with a particle size smaller than 3/4 of the sieve hole size in the sieve material are very easy to pass through the sieve surface.
● Difficult to sieve particles: The particles in the sieve are smaller than the size of the sieve, but larger than 3/4 of the size of the sieve. The probability of passing through the sieve is very small.
● Obstructing particles: Particles with a particle size of 1 to 1.5 times the size of the sieve in the sieve material can easily block the sieve and interfere with the normal progress of the sieving process.
